De Nada's Owner & Head Chef, Oz Blackaller, is a husband, father, chef, and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Mexico, Chef Oz moved out to San Diego in 2009 with his growing family, determined to leave his mark on the culinary world. Proudly serving the San Diego community for a decade, Chef Oz owns, operates, and creates dishes for his University Heights-based Kitchen and Market.

"I'll miss Cueva Bar but chef Oz has come through again with De Nada. The parklet addition they built on the street brings back that cozy European vibe that I loved about Cueva. The food is still fantastic. Hit you in the face flavor.
Try the chimichurri pizza. Oz' chimichurri was always incredible, an empanada never got you enough of the sauce though. A full sized large pizza slathered in it is the delivery mechanism I needed for this sauce.
Loved the ceviche as well. Pomegranate and avocado are a great addition. Oz's food is never truly authentic Spanish, Mexican, Mediterranean, but a blend of of flavors and somehow the rules don't apply. Everything just works.
Glad this place is transitioning back into more of a restaurant as the neighborhood is better for it."
